Just wanted to let you guys know that after a week long battle about trying to get a set of Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 from these guys, it turns out, Hankook even gave them (DTD) the run-around.

I inquired to DTD about restock time and they were given no real answer for said tire from Hankook after I inquired about future availability.
I emailed back and said, I'll ask [Hankook] myself, to which, I sent them (Hankook) a detailed inquiry of the situation between my order, DTD stock and when Hankook might ship. Obviously DTD has more pull as a buyer than I but, they (DTD) waited for me to get a response from Hankook.

My response from Hankook was to blow smoke up my -ss and respond as such

I forwarded this (Patty's email) to DTD and changed my order to the lower priced Falken 912s (H rated). In turn of all the hassle and problems, not due to them (DTD), they are shipping me the better versions of the tires (w rating) for the cost of the lower speed rated tires (about $20/ea difference).

It's not a great story I guess but, it's still nice to see a company that appreciates your business and will go out of their way to work with you instead of just saying, 'we don't have any, f-off'.

That's all I have, Discount Tire Direct, good place, good people to deal with IMO from my experience with them.

h rated? dont drive over 130. and not over 100 with less than 35psi but its ashame u had to go through all that.

I ordered the same Falken tires not too long ago, I was told it would take up to seven business days to recieve them, got em' in three. The customer service rep was professional and polite. I'd recommend them too, no detractions in my sale.

Out of curiosity, what size Ventus tires were you looking to get? I just bought 2 275/40/17 and 2 245/45/17 Hankook Ventus V4 from tire rack and got them QUICK.

Yeah, I checked that site out and the tires were practically the same price, only a dollar or two difference, so I just went with tire rack.
