Last review of Gm parts direct was over a year ago, so ill state some updated opinions. But first, modern day muscle.

MDM: ordered a pass. side rear spoiler on monday for $18 shipped, got it today! Little crack on the inside but nothing structural or noticable, remember its a used part.

Overall

GM Parts Direct: RIP OFF CITY!!! I bought a nose emblem, TPI rear bumper emblem, and a coolant bottle. $76 for the parts = good price. HOWEVER they charged me a $11.52 fee to pull the parts off the shelf, and ANOTHER $10.16 to ship the box that weighs 3 pounds . Thats $21.28 gone from my pocket for something that should of cost $10. MDM charged me only $4 to ship my spoiler! GMPARTSDIRECT shipping and handling is . I should of bought it all from MDM.

Overall Typical GM raping the people. If i wanted to get ripped off i woulda went to the stealership a mile from my house.

Re: MDM and gmpartsdirect.com

Thats the way it works with GMpartsdirect. I would guess that the cost of the parts plus the cost of shipping was still cheaper than what a dealership would have charged for the same parts over the counter, so regardless if they rape you on shipping, a good deal is a good deal. (At least it has been for me when ordering from the website). I have noticed that a lot of their prices are going up. A few years ago, I remember parts on their site being roughly half of what the dealership charged, now that they have a large number of customers online and the website name has gotten around, their prices are starting to rise and you don't save as much.
