Car: '89 Trans Am GTA

Engine: WAS 350 - now L92 (alum. 378/6.2L)

Transmission: WAS 700R4, now a built T56

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9-bolt

Anyone have contact info for RockAuto mgmt?? (I've gotten jerked around)

I know that several people have ordered from them & apparently gotten good results, but I just got jerked around on the very first order I placed with 'em.

RockAuto just screwed me over on a clutch master & slave cylinder - so I'm sending everything that I ordered back. I'd planned on buying an alternator & a whole bunch of other parts for my swap as well, but after the guy telling me "Well, the contents of the kits are random"

when I asked them to make it right (about 5 minutes ago), I'm not gonna give 'em another dime. Screw 'em.

Don't try to pee on my leg & tell me it's raining...

(The basic issue is that the parts were incomplete.)

I was supposed to have been called back this morning by the woman I was working with last night, when that didn't happen, I placed the call to them, & got the jackass above. If anyone knows someone there who can possibly make this right, I'd be VERY grateful to get the info...

Hey guys thanks a bunch. I probably should've waited a little bit after getting off the phone before posting...

I think I will call them back today, we'll see what happens. I might have just gotten two people that were having "off days" (although that 'the kits are random' quote is a real doozy ). Didn't help that he was being a bit condescending either...

We'll see how the next person handles it...

I've purchased parts from rock auto before, and returned them with no problems. My reason: "I don't want them anymore." It really was that simple, and I got a full refund. I'm sure if you call back or ask to speak with a manager they will take care of you.
