VFN Fiberglass
I am about to buy me a new fiberglass hood (possibly carbon fiber) and have been looking around at different people. I am wanting a plain stock flat hood, not a cowl or SS or L88, just a flat hood to replace mine, I just want a fiberglass one, then I'll put the blisters back on for a stock look with less weight. I know that Harwood hoods have to be trimmed up alot and the Unlimited Products stuff has alot of fitment problems, but I remember hearing that VFN was suppose to be pretty good.

I was turned on to VFN by my nephew. He bought a ram air hood for his fourth gen T.A. I fit and painted it for him. While blocking his hood I ran into a couple thin spots in the fiberglass. I contacted VFN about this and they took care of it, PERIOD. They sent a truck line to pick up hood, inspected it, and shipped me a new one. This took about a week. The cust. service was some of the best I have ever delt with. the fit was excellent. The quailty on the second hood was perfect.
I was so impressed with them that I ordered a L88 hood for my 88 camaro. They had to make it ,as they had none in stock. Took about two weeks. The fit was excellent, and was of great quality.
As with anything you get what you pay for. Shipping seemed a little high at the time, but hood was very well crated.
I would buy from them again.

Take a look at glasstech also. I have a 4 in cowl that will be in on friday can report back on how it looks if you like. I have a 3 in harwood hood also it fit great and was light. And I have a 5 in jhongbloed a little heavy and needs some work out of the box.

I have never heard a bad word about VFN and from what I hear there very good about doing custom work (I.E. I want X scoop on a hood for Y car but nobody makes it) and a plus for me there about 15 minutes from my house
