frustrated with gm parts direct.

i went ahead and placed an order for a part i need. and when it comes to the billing, they say the billing address has to match the credit card im using. ok this is the problem, i entered my address, and submitted, ERROR, billing address does not match card. ok so i close the page, and start over, same thing. ok now i give up for the night. (couldnt remember my old house address) now i find out, they still take the money from my account and put it on hold. and i have two orders for the same exact part 'in process' it says. and of coarse, from their FAQ, i cant cancel orders. i emailed them, but of coarse, i dont expect a reply. anyone know if this order will still go through even though i entered the incorrect billing address? Im gonna talk to my bank and have them deny the charges.

They shouldn't process that order if the address does not match.
But you say they charged you anyway...can you call GM parts direct? These electronic transactions take a split second to complete...and forever to fix. I don't know if you can get the bank to deny the charges,usually the bank would need a credit for the order from GM parts for the charge to be wiped away. I know because I accidently charged something on a card awhile back and the place I made my purchase had to notify the bank so it would be credited to my card. It took a couple of days to go through.,.
Call them if you can..if it ends up getting shipped hopefully it can be returned and credited to your card. It will work out eventually.

cant call them they say they save money by not having a phone number, only emailing.. and day 2, no response.

Call your credit card company and let them know what's happening. They may be able to yank the approval code, if it's an issue.

I've had this problem with them before, as well. I live in an apartment, and the issue was that my apartment was listed on the same line as my street address on my bank's profile. On GM Parts Direct, there is an extra line for an apartment, but you have to put it on the same line as the street, exactly as it appears on your statement. If there's a period missing or whathaveyou, it'll be denied. Your best bet is to call up your bank and find out exactly how your address is listed in your profile.
