my experience with Quick time performance ( A BAD ONE)

last year I got a electric valve\flowtech cut out from quicktimeperformance.com , when I recieved the packaged the motor in the electric valve was broken
I called and basically the guy told me , after putting me on hold for 30 minutes !!, that I was not their fault but UPS,
so My mechanics installed a little r.c motor that work just fine,
that I had to pay for......

A year after the electric valve is leaking exhaust , the connector melted and the whole thing look like crap
I called them and ask about the warranty ( they almost laught, oh after putting me on old for 30 minutes)
they said I could send the unit back to them including 30$ in cash ( cash in the mail, ??) and they could fix it but I had in top of that to pay for the connector to.....

I understand that this is a custom product and that the design might be shaddy but the customer service and the non-existant warranty make me feel like I got screwed big time.

Now I just use the flowtech cover plate that came originaly with the cut out and open or close it manually

I know a lot of you guys wanted to shop with them, that is just my experience of that shop.

I wanted to share my frustation ......

have a good one

Friend's cutout did the smae thing with connector. Fried itself.. I think it also may have eaten up the gearing for the valve. It was like a month old, and he got the same service.

Just buy manual cutouts and open them yourselves.

What made you choose the Quick Time cutout over the McCord Power Plate? MacCord offer a warantee with their cut-outs, don't they?

I didnt know any other vendors at the time and the website of QTP is pretty cool and made me think it would be awsooome, but now I know.
The problem I have is that everytime i try to buy stuff related to this car people never understand the possibility that Im not good at doing stuff tech stuff with my car, Its to the poin that my dream is to find a mechanic that I can let do his job the right way

maybe other people had a better experience with this store but when I give my money to someone I expect a service and quality

better luck next time I hope
