mccord is not treating me well :\

Ok maybe they are just slacking but heres the following emails back and forth:

-10/7/2004-
(me, Travis)
I have installed my cut out plate and after debugging, came to the conclusion the drive motor needs to be replaced.
I have never used the product since i bought it about 6 months ago.
I bought this as part of the group purchase through www.thirdgen.org
I do not have my invoice anymore however I would still like to send it back to have the drive motor checked and possibly replaced.
Will this be a problem? thanks -Travis

You can send it back and we will let you know. Please send back all of the wiring harness including the switch so we can completely debug it if it truly and electrical problem.

i mailed you the solenoid a week ago, it was due to arrive last thursday (10-21) through UPS. curious what the update is on the fix? thanks

We haven't received any solenoids. Are you sure it was for one of our products? We don't use any solenoids on anything we make

Yes its the electric cutout valve, maybe solenoid is wrong word im using. i installed it and it didnt work, i tested it at the base with the voltmeter and it showed power when i pressed the button. Perhaps it is refered to as the drive motor.

Call ups and talk to a customer service rep. Hopefully you sent it insured (free up to $100)

Someone should have signed for it at delivery. If not, then I think it'd be UPS's fault for not proving delivery and they should reimburse you.

ok well after 3 weeks now I finally got another emal from them:

To Travis Jackson :

Your MPP2 is in production and will be shipping. A copy of your invoice is attached to this e-mail. Your tracking number (if applicable) is included on the invoice. Your MPP2 can be tracked to your doorstep by going to www.ups.com. You can check on your shipment date by looking online using the tracking number. Once your package is in the UPS system, its date for delivery will be shown. Sometimes tracking numbers can take a day to enter into the UPS system, so continue to check the status.

Thank you for your business - we appreciate it very much.

Sincerely,

McCord Consulting Group

then in the invoice it said the motor terminal was damaged beyond repair either due to the cable being pulled during installtion or hitting car body. replaced entire motor and gearbox under warranty. (normally not a warranty issue.) added wire to prevent stress/strain on cable.

so even though it took almost 2 months to get it fixed, I am gonna get it back free of charge, and hopefully this time it works
