i bought one , hope you're good at fiberglass work and don't mind a VERY poor fit , the only good things i have to say for them is they're cheap and they do use steel backing plates for the bolt on hoods .

I've never seen their fenders so I can't say. People here seem to like either Cervinis or Harwood. I'm not too sure though, I'm just thinking off the top of my head. But any other place rather than Unlimited Products should be good.

flrtin1, CrazyHawaiian and I all have an Unlimited Products cowl hood. The fit isn't the best on mine, but CrazyHawaiian's and flrtin1's hoods look pretty good in pictures. The underside is also unfinished, so unless you're just going for weight reduction, I'd recommend Cervini or Harwood.

My hood is from Unlimited also, just to clarify But the horror story on my hood was that the top & bottom molds were bonded together crooked diagonally! So a good fit was impossible after messing around with the fenders, hood hinges, etc. My friend who painted my car worked his magic & got a semi decent fit on the hood for me. And being that I live in Hawaii, sending it back to get another hood isn't really a cheap option for me lol!

Bolting on a fiberglass hood just isn't a good idea to begin with.

I could of sworn that harwood made bolt on hoods in standard cowl, & outlaw cowl(4 inches) hoods.

a fiberglass hood is fine if they use steel plates behind the fiberglass for a bolt on. early thirdgen hoods were fiberglass and lets not forget the corvette. just need to be made right.

they bolt on just fine, except the design of the hood doesn't really allow for weaker hoods than stock. My hood is a bitch to open sometimes because it flexes so much, that one side will get stuck under the fender as the other side tries to fly open. Yes both struts are the same and meant for fiberglass. I'd still much rather have a pinon.

www.glasstek.com they're local to me and it's the hood on my camaro, a little filler and sealer and it painted up rather easily.
