JET 6 pack powertech Chip kit

I was reading JEGS catalog and noticed a chip they make for my speed density 5.0L formula 5speed. It's made by JET and has 6 stages to choose from. ECONOMY,TOWING,STAGE 1,STAGE2,VALET MODE, and ANTITHEFT.

Does anyone have any experience with JET products. Are they good? Does the stage 2 offer a greater performance gain over my stock chip?
thank you

That chip is awesome, my buddy put it in his car. I'm gonna get one when I can save up $129 bucks.

With at least 2 companies out there with the abilty to custom program a chip according to the customers specs, I dont see why anyone would want to go with a Jet-Chip. I had one,and shortly replaced it with a custom burned chip from Superchips...the results??...i cant even get rid of that damn jet-chip on E-Bay!!!!.....nuff' said

I am sorry to dredge this post from the depths but it seems somewhat dated at this point. For my carCurious.

I believe this is the 6 pack JET chip you're looking for.

I have a mag article of a Power Resource chip in a 3rd gen f-body show'd acouple tenths difference in the 1/4 mile. I believe it was around .3 tenths or so.

If you're super serious about getting a chip though I would look into getting one custom made for your combination by a reliable source. It's kind of like comparing a finally tuned custom HP motor build to a drop in crate motor with no tuning.

I ordered from Summit the Jet Stage 2 chip, number 18905-s. Twice it left me stranded with a no start condition, possible VAT's problem. The car started fine after removing the chip. I now have a $150 Jet chip on the shelf collecting dust. Maybe I should have taken the advice to buy the equipment to burn my own chip!

I always wanted that 6 pack JET chip for security reasons but have never bought it because I would rather learn to burn my own chips which someday Ill finally do. But for all you chip burners out there, how easy would it be for me to make something like the 6 pack JET chip thingy or at least build a dual chip system?????

Off the shelf chips are garbage. There is only one way to correctly get a new chip and that is to either have your car dyno tuned or for you to burn them yourself. Buying an off the shefl chip is like mail order surgery.

I have a plan that will be better then Pontiac's. Let me sell you this chip for more than it's worth and all of my problems will be solved. You will like it if you can get others to pay for it. Tell your wife that buying my chip will help all children, well, my kid anyway. Tell your boss that it will be good for your self esteem if he would pay for it. Tell your neighbor that he should pay up for the health care of your beloved car. Trust me, I will make a better decision on how to spend your or other's money. I have talked to your foreign allies and even though they are taking bribes from tuners, I'm sure they will help you pay for it. Be kind, be gentle, be p-whipped, give me your money and I promise you anything you may believe about this chip. I voted against the chip before I voted before it. I made the mistake of not getting others to pay for it, but I'm sure your friends will pay for it for you.
Sorry, I just watched the presidential debates.
