Hood and rear deck struts
can anyone tell me where I can get hood and rear deck lift
supports (Gas support struts)for my 1983 Z.I have a fiberglass
hood,so I know I can't use the steel hood struts

i got mine at murray's i think, any parts store should have em. maybe you could run just one strut on the hood instead of 2.

or buy some worn out ones from someone's steel hood... <grin> they should still do the job for a fiberglass hood.. hehe

PS - As for attaching the hood to the hood mounts... I haven't the slightest idea... do they not incorporate some way to do this in the molding?
