I use one bottle after every coolant change and noticed about a 7 degree drop. I think the stuff is great. Next time, though I'll probably try that 30-Below stuff. Guy I know had nothing but good things to say about it. Only thing is it costs two or three times more than the Water Wetter.

I too give this product praise. Been using it since it was a powder that you had to mix yourself. Now it comes ready to puot straight in.
I usually just drain the radiator and fill back up with WW and water. And it does make a difference. Since our cars don't have open front ends or big grill,we only get cooling from moving above30mph or the fans.

Water Wetter, prestone, Hypertech fan switch and 170 degree therm = never above 180. Raceing w/air on towing a trailer up a hill in the Mojave desert.

Whats this 30-below stuff?

It's in the JEG'S catalog. It comes in a black square metal container and is supposedly "guaranteed" to reduce temps by 30 degrees. I doubt that, but my boss said it worked way better than Water Wetter did when he tried both. I figure, try it once.. what the heck..

I would'nt use that forty below stuff it seems cool until you have to tear down the motor and find that slimey grey **** in all you're coolant passages and water jackets it is nasty.:nono:

Is that firsthand experience? If so thanks for the headsup. I'll ask if that happened to his motor by now.

Water wetter worked good for me to. Although with the mixture I was running the antifreeze properties were not up to the wisconsin winters. I drain it and put regular coolant in. Then put new coolant/ water wetter in during spring.
I have been thinking of going with evans coolant next spring though.

I tried it when my car was getting during the summer and dropped the temp about 10 degrees and I also removed the front lic. plate because it blocks a little cold air from coming in.
