Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
Just found this yesterday at a flea market booth. I'm guessing 1980's....

Bought the MacGyver vehicle.
Looked through the Greenlight site.
Some of these might be what you drive?

Really enjoy seeing everyone's collections! I just wish I could find the red '84 Hot Wheels Firebird...

Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
There’s so many of them on eBay but I don’t want to spend $6 on something that would only be $1 if the stores near me would get some. Very frustrating.

I've had some of these for so long I forgot I had them.

Picked up two more 1/16 scale ERTL Firebirds in the past few months. I wish I could find a list somewhere to see if there are any others I’m missing. The latest was the Knight Rider one. I’ve been searching for that one for years. Ended up buying this one on eBay from a guy in Ireland.

Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
While doing my usual 82-92 camaro search on ebay i randomly found this billet aluminum license plate that was actually on 3rd gen font.
then on Wednesday my boss told me he was at a local hobby shop and saw a pace car camaro diecast that he was gonna get me but thought i had it already. (I used to have one years ago when i owned a pace car) luckily i went to the shop and it was still there so i got it. Was like at least half the price of what they go for online.

Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
just got these in the mail, preordered them what feels like years ago. This is supposed to be Johnny lightning using autoworld’s old casting, I think they did pretty good. Long needed update to the overused 1984 casting. Really like the nostalgia of the OK used cars, fun fact there was a OK lot in town when I was a kid and they had white z28 just like this one.really excited about these hope JL make more with this casting.

Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
When through a model building phase 30 some odd years ago (30 years? ) I had about a dozen models get busted up during a move, one of them was a 91-92 Firebird drag car. This is the only 91-92 model I've ever come across.

Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
yeah i usually find more stuff with the very basic of ino in the search box. thats how i find lots mroe stuff that my friends are always like how the hell did you find that?
adding years usually brings up a bunch of crap especially if people dont know exactly what the item is.

Re: Thirdgen toys, models, etc.
Just got a new (old) diecast that I hadn’t seen before. Earnhardt’s 1987 ASA #8 camaro. I had previously only seen the #3 from ‘88. I was pretty happy with this find.

couple more. actually got 2 of those ornament sets. the colors on the cars are sick. oh and having a guy do a copy of my car. if it comes out well he said he can probably do a 1/24 scale version soon.
