Scat makes some really solid internal engine parts like cranks and rods even the cast stuff is rated for high power like up to 500 horse so you will be good to go with scat cranks.

i heard
i heard that eagle is also made overseas and that their rods aren't all that good. i haven't heard anything bad about their cranks for street use. i think it makes a difference coming from overseas because they don't care about racing. the whole reason they make parts is for pure profit and nothing else.
that's just what i heard.

to clear some things up:
The Scat 9000 series cranks hold up well for n/a applications up to about 600hp
i have a friend using one in a n/a 383 making about 525hp and running low 11s without any problems
scat makes quality products
Eagle makes nice stuff too, they had a bad batch of cranks though and it didn't help their name much but they're rods are the best deal in the world for the price IMHO.
All you need is a set of eagle h-beam rods with the best ARP rod bolts you can buy and you wont need another rod, i know NMRA racers who do the above and dont have problems with their 1000hp+ motors.
i personally know ASSC used them in their old GT that was going 8.50s
