Stock headlight and H4 lights
I have an 84 Pontiac Firebird. I changed from stocked headlights to H$ headlights. Some people say that I need re-pin the headlight connectors to match the H4 prongs because the ground prong is different from stock.
I ama bit confused by all this. Please help.

The pins on the bulb are different than the wiring for your stock headlamps. And then, your switch inside the car can't really handle the bulbs so you really should update the wiring. It really isn't that hard. Here is where you need to look for better info: https://www.thirdgen.org/headlightupgrade
I did it and I love it. It's not too difficult. Good luck!

I ordered a new wiring plug and play ceramic harness for the pontiac. Will that be enough or do I need a whole system?

Re: Stock headlight and H4 lights
by the way the headlights are "Halogen Semi Sealed H4 Crystal Clear Glass Headlights (60/55W)" are they too strong for the wiring or do I need a full relay?
