Cyberdyne's calibration box & GM T-56
I had talked to Cyberdyne about a month ago and was told that the calibration box that Jegs sells was NOT recommened for any GM vehicle. So who has this box in their car and are you having any problems with it? Also, is there anyone out there using the box with a T-56 tranny and a 90-92 Camaro stock speedometer? are you having any problems, where you able to use the calibration box to make the VSS signal work with the stock speedometer and ECM?.....
Thanks
Thanks

I have a '91 Z28 w/ T56 and the Cyberdyne box. It works fine for me. You'll probably never get the speedo 100% accurate but you can get it really close. I do notice that occasionally it will lose its accuracy so all I have to do is adjust it again. That's a minor problem though, for me at least.

Hmmm...I've never heard of the Dakota Digital boxes before. How much do they cost and where can I get one? Does it hook up the same way as the Cyberdyne box?

Steve,
Go to www.dakotadigital.com and look in the accessory menu and then click 'speedometer interface'. Its the same price as the cyberdyne from Jegs. You can't beat the one from Dakota....can't wait for it to get here.

I called dakota to inquire about the SGI-5 today and was told we needed to know the Pulse per mile rate of our electric speed sensor...If any one knows how or where to get these figures I would appreciate it before I order one
