Founders Camber/Caster Plates

Founders Camber/Caster Plates
I just recently installed a set of these on my car and was very pleased with end result. I needed the extra adjustment they offer to get the alignment right on my car. They went on very easy and made the steering on my car feel more solid. This is the third different item that I have bought from Founders and Have been very happy with the quality, fit and the price.

I bought there poly phb&lca package awhile back. Last year replaced my springs with the eibach pro kit so I purchased an aluminum dbl adjustable phb to center my rearend. I just purchased Founders dbl adjustable lca to replace the poly ones and will have them on my car by next week. Love there price and there quality.

Re: Founders Camber/Caster Plates
Don't have the plates yet, those look cool. I did get there spherical adjustable LCA and Panard rod With the relocation brackets. Put them on right at the end of last year (winter in michigan, lowered camaro bad idea). So I have not put a lot of miles on them yet. They went on well. I did have a very slight misalignment on the drilling of the passenger side lca bracket. Fixed it with a few taps with the dremel to open up the hole a small amount. Probably something like .020". All good. Felt like it really stiffened up the car. I would recommend these guys. The parts are really nice. If you get the same parts. Note that some of the bolts are shorter for the body side lcas I wound up not noticing till I was putting the nuts on everything and had to take them all back off and put the right ones in the right places. Must be maybe a half inch shorter so I didn't notice till I started putting nuts on. I will be shopping with Founders again.

Re: Founders Camber/Caster Plates
Just got a set today and was trying to install them tonght but ran into a problem. The monroe struts on this car does not well with the bearing plate. The top plastic strut cover is wider then the bearing plate opening.
Any advice?

I haven't seen any aftermarket strut mounts that the stock black covers will fit.

Re: Founders Camber/Caster Plates
I received mine today. Though the plates were packaged well and arrived in a timely fashion, the finish, which was scuffed and scratched in places, was somewhat disappointing. That said, the design is first rate and I'll be interested in how they perform.

Re: Founders Camber/Caster Plates
Can you send me a photo to sales@foundersperformance.com? I would like to show shipping to make sure this doesn't happen again. Do you want us to send out some non scratched ones?
Many thanks,

Re: Founders Camber/Caster Plates
I've got founder's caster/camber plates and lca/phb. Quality stuff with nice welds and powder coating, the price can't be beat too. The only problem I had with mine was the fools at Tire Kingdom couldn't get the car aligned for s**t after trying 3 times and chewed up the stock tie rod adjusters pretty bad by using a pipe wrench and channel locks on them. I ended up aligning it myself and found they had the driver side set to -1 camber like I wanted but the pass. side was +4 on the camber and I had a 1 1/4" of toe out! They couldn't explain why my car was horribly pulling to the right and was all over the road
A question to founder's though how come you guys haven't come out with sfc's for the thirdgen? I bet they'd sell like hot cakes. I could use a set myself, come about income tax time.
Oh yeah here's a pic of them on the car to......

Re: Founders Camber/Caster Plates
I just got mine in today, what is the orientation of the small strut mounting backet? is the rounder side towards the front of the car or rear of the car? What should the alignment specs be, for 5.7 on the Eibach sportlines?
