cyberdyne digital gauges

I have an '84 Trans am, and love the look of cyberdyne digital gauges ...Are there ones that fit the car with all six gauges? If not, maybe just a few...Where could I get them or find out more about it? ANY info on this would be well appreciated. Thanks very much

jegs has them in their catalog. from talking to the guys at the stroe they're not that good a product, they all told me auto meter is better and less trouble. personally i've never had them to know for sure.

I see that Dakota Digital has a cluster out for our cars now too, my friend put one of their dashes in his truck on my suggestion and we're really pleased with it, quite a bit better than cyberdyne if you ask me. Probably about the same price though, if not slightly more. I'd say Dakota Digital is food for thought on a future cluster swap of my own. Take care now.

You're kind of rolling the dice with these gauges. I owned a digital FP gauge/sender and digital air/fuel ratio. The air/fuel gauge just died oneday and never came back to life. But the FP gauge/sender were very accurate. I switched to AutoMeter.

i use auto meter gauges now on my 85 and in my sons 88 with no problems. my 68 has sun gauges that still work, i bet they've not been made for near 20 years. like i said i have no experience with cyberdyne, i was looking at the mand the sales peopel at jegs said there has been lot of problerms with cyberdyne. that was enough to help me make up my mind waht i wanted.

The Intellitronics digital dash costs $369 from summit, but it was a pain in the a** to install. looks cool now. You have to splice in all the wires, and cut up the inside of the old inst. cluster to make it fit (hardley an easy bolt-on).

Car: 2004 Chevy Avalanche

I've had the Cyberdyne gauges in my '82 Firebird for seven or eight years with no problems at all.

I had the Cyberdyne dash in my car for about a year. The install was NOT that hard, there was no splicing because it utilized the printed circuit on the back of the cluster. My only complaint was that the gauge labels rubbed off after a bit. My Intellitronix dash should be arriving soon, and I look forward to being bathed in red LEDs once again.

Shouldn't have any problems with the label rub-off if you're not dumb enough to rub the labels in the first place.

I got the Intellitronix dash yesterday. Um.... It looks like it's gonna be a weekend install. That's disappointing if not slightly upsetting. Oh, well. It was free, so who can complain.

I have pics and movies of my old one and when I finish this one I'll take some more and post them for public comparison.
