who builds custom wheels
I have a design i drew up and I want someone to make this design for the wheels on my iroc. But i am having a hell of a time finding someone or a shop that makes actual wheels. I want to get some 18's in rears and 16's in front. anyone know someone who makes wheels? the only thing that pops up online after hours of searching is custom bicycle wheels or just retailers that have custom wheels but dont respond when i ask if they can get a special design made for me by their supplier

Have you looked at contacting some of the manufacturers of aftermarket wheels? Try to find a company that make wheels similar to your design. Be prepared for a steep price tag if they agree to do it.

yeah i have sent emails to a few and no one has responded, i also tried asking big retailers and small retailers who can build me a damn wheel... i didnt think it would be so hard to find someone

It's not hard, it's expensive, like $5,000+ a set of wheels, look up 1Bad91Z's wheels, he had custom 91-92 style wheels made in 17x10 and 17x7 and I have set number 2 and love them

will having 18x8 in rear and stock wheels in front create mu;ch problems for me? other than maybe speedometer problems?

I did a search like your doing now about 6 years ago, and got so fed up with the run around I just gave up.
I was trying to get a set of GTA wheels reproduced in at least an 18" diameter. Its very unfortunate that no one makes decent wheels for 3rd gens.
