Re: Suicide Doors
Well, usually you get what you pay for, and I like the fact that the $1,299 kit actually had a pic of the doors on the applicable vehicle, but the $299 kit is bolt-in so you may as well give 'em a shot...
BTW, pab's- you're supposed to use the plural form not the possessive, even with slurs and expletives...

Re: Suicide Doors
No way possible to get a bolt-on scissor door on a 3rd gen. Our hinges are WELDED on, unlike the 4th gens that have bolted on hinges.
Buy those, sue them for false advertising for enough $$ to buy a good kit.

Re: Suicide Doors
Yes it's possible. Of course. practical? no. But if someone parks too close to you I think having a suicide door or lambo door would be great. I end up having to slide down on my seat and im a bigger guy and im on my 3rd seat in 11 years.

You could either buy these or smear poop on the car. The end result is the same.

Re: Lambo Doors
The cheaper of the two shows the doors on a 4th gen, which makes sense for it to be a bolt on for the lighter fiberglass 4th gen doors. The third gen doors are pretty heavy and I don't imagine the $300 "heavy duty" gas shocks would hold up for long.
Atleast the cheaper one mentions extended wiring harness when applicable if you had the even heavier power windows in ur baby.

Re: Lambo Doors
I really think that you should not put lambo doors becuase they way I see it it will de-valuate your car, since thats more of an upgrade for like a honda, or newer cars. BUt in then end its really up to you....man...

Re: Lambo Doors
I want a 3rd gen Gullwing door kit made.
[If the hatch can be hinged to glass, so could a door. then have mini bottom 1/4 windows that go down, like on race cars with Gulls.]
