Transmission: 700r4 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Summit Thermostat gasket!!!
Just got a summit thermo gasket to replace my leaking paper gasket. Summit part number SUM-G2399. Gasket is awesome very heavy duty. It sealed very nicely no leaks and looks as though it should hold up for a long time. It appears to be the same gasket as this Mr. Gasket one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-738G/ and it is half the price.

I got one from a local auto store and it was around $18... But I can vouch that when I replaced my crappy leaky paper one with this one, I never had a leak after that. This is one that I would definitely buy again.

Never have seen one like that. I usually do just fine with the paper ones..Will keep in mind in case I get a problem with one.
