Re: harwood pin-on hood>?
I dont have one on my camaro, but I do on my s10.
Hood fit great, I did have to trim just alittle bit where the cowl scoop curves up over the cowl. Had to take off about a 1/4" on both sides.
The lift off hood is great if you race, but IMO, it is a pain for a street car. It is very nice when working, but if you are just raising the hood to check the oil/water/etc. then it is a pain. I can get the s10 hood off myself, but a camaro hood is bigger. Not to mention the added pain of finding a place to put it while you work.
Harwood makes quality hoods.

Re: harwood pin-on hood>?
I have one, fit seems pretty good, kinda low in the middle of the fenders but maybe some sort of hood stops should fix that. I only have a pin on each corner of the hood though so fasterners may fix that. Blocked out nice, not to wavy. Am going to have to notch the front underbrace out to clear the headlights but nothing major.
Best pic I have so far. Have some more if u click the build thread in my sig....

i also have one of these on my 84 and i love it!! i did have to trim just a little bit for the wipers to clear but thats it! ow and if you just need to quikly open the hood just undo the pins and just lift the front of the hood up like normall and use a stick to keep it up as long as theres no wind lol!!
and sorry theres no pics im not good at the computer!

Re: harwood pin-on hood>?
I had one on my 68 camaro loved it, so much easier working on the car w/o anything in the way. Got one I'll be fitting for my stang shortly. It's on my list of things to get asap for my TA, everytime I work on it I think omg I need a lift-off hood.
Take your time and use Dzus fasteners, sure it takes longer to open the hood but you can get a better fit with the right placment and I like how they look. This is the easy way http://www.racecraft.com/index.php?m...&cPath=408_409 I got the front peice for my stang, didn't feel like fabbing something up. The 68 was easy cause the whole hood had area around it, not sure if I'm gonna try and put a couple on the back for the TA.
I also noticed I'd have to trim the lip for the whippers, harwood makes the lip for shipping streingth. I always see people with the ship lip still on their cowl, looks a lot better if you trim it.
If you go dzus take your time and plan it out.
Almost forgot, saw horses at home or keep a sheet/blanket w/e if your out n bout too set it on the roof.
