need plug wires

I just installed some edelbrock headers and the heat has cooked the plug wires so bad that the engine keeps missing. what kind of wires will take the punishment?

Jacobs has a set of wires that will take 1600 degrees. It will take the punishment.

The other way to go is to get a custom set of wires with all 90* boots (brand is up to you, i have the holley annihilator 9mms and love them) and use a wire loom to organize the wires away from the headers.

However, with the price of custom wires ($60-$100) and the wire loom (around $40) ...you could get the Jacobs.

Try the 8.5mm MSD wires with 90 deg boots. MSD wires are suposto be the least resistant on the market (40 ohms), get them from summit. not to expensive. crimping them takes time but not to hard and yo uget to rout them how you want them. wirelooms will also help (i have the wires, havenot put them on yet because its to damn cold.
