I thought i post this very important info that almost ruined my brand new build lt1. I purchased an eagle forged crank and a fluid damper. the other day i started my car and my damper flew off!! and then i noticed that the damper just went in too easy!! so i took it to shop to see waht the deal was..and then called eage
I found out that the forged crank is undersized by 1 thousnadths of an inch. and the fluid damper is oversized by 1 thousandths..because of the steel on both parts. i am very pissed at the machined shop for not picking this up..they should have known.. SO BE WARNED!!! dont let this happen to you ..im lucky i was wasnt driving..
