Trans Am HIDs
I have been searching for a while for HID fog lights for my trans am. I have only seen a few posts about this on here and they were all for Camaros anyway. Does anyone know where I could get these? I found HID fog lights but only for fourth-gen LS1s. Is it possible to use the same fog light housing and just put an HID bulb in? Thanks in advance.

Re: Trans Am HIDs
Find a Hella H4 conversion, and an H4 HID kit. There are lots of websites selling HID lights.
Crutchfield sells the conversions, I think JCWhitney has them as well.
Websites like xenonking.com have h4 HIDs
Edit: Oh, fog lights. I didn't read. xenonking.com will have the correct fog lights too I believe.

I'm not exactly sure about TA fog lights but I know that you can get HID conversion kits for almost any bulb. I have a Nissan Altima which I just put 10,000k HIDs in. As long as the fog lights have those twist out removable bulb sockets, you should be able to replace them with HIDs. I just looked up your car and it looks like it takes a 55w H3 bulb. Just check out ebay or another parts site and get an H3 conversion kit.

I believe 5000k is the correct temperature to produce the most visible light.
Higher color temperatures will have more blue and eventually violet color
Lower color temperatures will have more yellow and eventually red color

Ok thanks guys. Looks like I'll get this kit or one just like it.

Then I just have to find a good place to tie the ballasts and I'll be set.
