Alphamirror auto dimming mirrors

anyone have one of these? do they work, worth the money? Nephews z is not wired up for factory mirror, thought this would save a lot of hassle. http://www.alphamirror.com/index.php...om&TAG=DIGITAL

It would run off of a battery then?

If you have the upper console you may be able to tap a constant 12v from there. If you decide to get something OEM, I have a couple of different kinds sitting around that I've tested. But you would also need to consider is the size of the mounting tab on the windshield. Here

Re: Alphamirror auto dimming mirrors

yes, they use two round watch type batteries and should last about 3 years under normal use. Just strap on and go. (almost sounds kinda dirty)

Lol, I did a search but only found one review. There's some interesting (unbiased) info. Something to read until someone posts up I guess. >>>Link
