Abaco dbx mass air flow meters
Has anyone seen these at jegs; http://www.jegs.com/p/ABACO/Abaco-DB...72320/10002/-1; Is there any chance they could be used to replace the factory mafs on '86-'89 maf 3rd gens or their available auto parts replacements?

They list an adapter harness for the 89 Trans Am so you probably can get it mounted.

That is half the problem with the TPI MAF system. The other half is the gm/sec limitation in the ecm. That meter will just allow you to pretty much flow as much as you need to but it will all be fueled by the PE v RPM table just like many others are doing who run MAF and a lot of HP.
