Equus Fuel Pressure Tester
The following is a copy of an e-mail message I just sent to Equus.
Dear Equus:
I recently purchased one of your Professional Injection Fuel Pressure Tester part number 3642. When I opened the package I noticed a small smudge mark on the plastic that covers the gauge. Embedded in the smudge mark was a finger print.
I proceeded to use your tester. When attaching the fitting to the Schreder valve on my 1989 Tune Port Injection engine I of course got a little bit of gasoline on my hands. Then when I picked up the gauge to read the pressure the plastic covering the gauge smeared or melted to the gasoline on my hands.
I since returned your product to the store I purchased it in. While the tester worked well I am disappointed you would manufacture a fuel pressure tester whose outside parts are sensitive to gasoline.
