I have the 194 64cc. they are not a bad head. I ran a 11.89 with them. Some others have been faster. Mine are off right now, ive been wanting to get em flowed to see what the "real" numbers are.

Re: LOOKING AT THIS EBAY AUCTION NEED OPINIONS
the only quality issue i had was that 1 accessory bolt hole was drilled a 1/8 inch off. Other than that no problems. They are off now b/c i blew a head gasket on aug 2nd. Aug3rd i was in a bad car accident. between healing and money issues, the car has been put on the back burner for a little bit.
as far as real numbers... i want a flow sheet. They can tell you they flow anything. Not saying that they are wrong.

Re: LOOKING AT THIS EBAY AUCTION NEED OPINIONS
i want better heads than those hated 85-86 L98 aluminum heads without dumping too much more cash. if they are not quite a bit better than them i might save up longer for something even better yet. all in all youre happy with them then? for as cheap as they are it almost sounds too good to be true. you know the ole get what you pay for type of deal. they told me on the phone id pick up 40 hp just putting those on from the heads im using. if thats remotely true then im gonna grab them. what other goodies did you have to bring you to an 11.89 loneroad?

Re: LOOKING AT THIS EBAY AUCTION NEED OPINIONS
i really hadnt planned on porting them. i figured they should be better than my stock L98 aluminum heads right out of the box. what do you think?

Re: LOOKING AT THIS EBAY AUCTION NEED OPINIONS
are you building a daily driver, or something that sees track time? For a DD those heads are a good deal.but if you plan on building the motor up in the future i would go with a better set.
ive learned the hard way.
when i built this motor, i put all of my money in the bottom end. knowing that i was going to build it up in the future. But with that thinking, I had to scale back the rest.I went with the pro comp heads. since they are a little smaller than the afr210s i wanted,, i couldnt run the cam i wanted, or carb, etc, etc. Now that im getting to the point of moving forward with the next level of build, i have to buy everything twice. Heads cam, carb, convertor..etc etc.

Re: LOOKING AT THIS EBAY AUCTION NEED OPINIONS
yea i know what you mean. it is my daily driver and rarely sees the track but im kind of trying to keep up with the 4th gen camaros and still have my L98 TPI give em a surprise.
