Two 3M products, and Back to Black
Not sure if they've been reviewed before, but here we go!
3M Finish Restorer- For hand or machine use. I don't have a machine, so I worked those arms. The product is supposed to "remove fine and medium scratches, surface imperfections, oxidation, and stubborn stains while leaving a deep, rich luster and durable waxed finish."
Over the weekend, I had to drive my white T/A in the crappy New England weather. Some wheel spin resulted and we're all to familiar with that crap that gets on the panel behind the rear wheel and made some lovlely stains that I couldn't get off with ANY concentration of various soaps. I remembered that I had the 3M restorer and gave it a try. I applied with a terry towell and it started to lift those stubborn and ugly stains right off! I moved to some spots behind the front wheels that were stained since I bought the car. SUCCESS AGAIN! It even got rid of a small hairline scratch from a rock on my hood. I highly reccomend this item!!!!!
3M Scratch Remover- Supposed to remove 1500 or finer scratches or sanding scratches, medium oxidaton, swirl marks, and water marks. This stuff works wonders. I had a few nicks on the door by the key hole and the gas tank. This product finished it off without any sign that the scratches were ever there. They were old scratches too, I DEFINITELY didn't put them there. It even got rid of scuffs on the t top trim paint.
Mothers Back to Black- Restores oxidized and faded rubbers, dash, and the like. It even removed the wax that got on the rubber window trim on top of the door. It restored that T Top bar into show room condition. I went overboard and did any weather stripping that I found faded. The only place the product fell short was the plating around the shifter and radio trim. I reccomed picking it up, it also shines up the hoses in your engine bay and outter dash part on other cars (where the windshield wipers are).
Thanks for your time! Hopefully you found this useful!

Back to Black is almost the same as tire shine/gel. You even apply it in the same way. I found this out and have only bought the tire gel instead of paying $4-5 for 1/3 as much.

I agree, they're similar products. I'd jsut had bad luck with dirt, dust, and grime sticking to the tire shine when I use it on places other than tires.
