Hawks TPI Airfoil
Well, it came in the other day. A brand new shiney SLP...oops I mean
Hawks Airfoil. Haha, yes Hawks sells SLP airfoils for 32 bucks. Not a bad deal IMO. Fitment was good and it shipped pretty quickly, 5 days (not to say I wasnt looking for it 2 days later in my box but oh well).
When I siamesed my runners and plenum I noticed a decent ammount of off-idle torque seemed to dissapear. But considering the fact that I gained a ton of RPM band I wasn't dissapointed. Well to my suprise the airfoil gave it all back to me
. So now I have a nice little L98 that will YANK out of the hole and pull STRONG to 5,200 RPM. Oh BTW, I ran a 15.6 in drive stock 
and now I beat LT-1s consistantly 
.
My list of mods:
TB-Bypass-Free (I work at Autozone)
K&N Air Filter- $40
Opened stock filter box-dremel special=free
Siamesed Runners-Free
Siamesed and Ported Plenum-Free
SLP Air-foil-$32
Stomping hapless LT-1s-ABSO********LUTLY PRICELESS!

your running 15.6 on the 1/4 with a 350tpi....ssomthing doesnt sound right, i have an 89 iroc with a 350tpi 9 bolt with 277 gears all stock cept the flowmaster muffler, and im running 14.58 at 92mph......

well that might do it i was shifting at 5200rpms and im in fayetteville nc so sea level isnt that bad compared to yours
. In this town the Turbos are on the prowl man...its sad.

yes i put my car on the dyno before and after... nothing with a factory motor. my larger motors i noticed a 2% raise but that changes with the motor temperature and air speed too. no different then flipping a coin.
more of a gimmick much like the tornado air filter element but if it worked for you that's great!
