AFR 210 eliminators arrived yesterday...Flow bench results coming soon!

Man! I placed my order back on Nov 2/06 (before these were in production) Just got them May 1. I ordered a set of race ready 210 eliminators with steam holes for the 400. p/n 1050F

I am taking them to A&J Automotive for flowbenching either today or Monday. Will post results.

Nice, Straight or angled plugs?

What headers are you using?

Re: AFR 210 elimianators arrived yesterday...Flow bench results coming soon!

Crap!

I can't catch a break on this engine build. I just found out that my new jesel shaft mount rockers for AFR 180-210 heads won't fit the new eliminator line. After contacting jesel they said they'd exchange for the proper kit once they finish designing it.........guess I won't be dynoing any time real soon. Good to hear I can get an exchange though.

Let us know at how many inches, if its a wet bench or dry bench, and what bore size was used. I noticed Dart shows their flow numbers in dry and wet flow which seems to really help with accuracy of the test. The Dart Pro Platinums on a wet bench are flowing over 320 @ 55 inches of water.

Re: AFR 210 elimianators arrived yesterday...Flow bench results coming soon!

That had to be the longest wait ever!!!!!

I have placed AFRs advertised numbers in brackets beside the results. They are NOT tested under the same conditions. AFR tested with 4.125 bore and a 1 7/8 pipe. My results are with 4.060" bore and no pipe. Both tests are at 28" of water, and are both dry flow numbers. Both the smaller test bore and no pipe will hurt the high lift flow numbers.

AFR 210cc eliminator race ready test (AFR advertised in brackets)

Lift Intake Exhaust
0.100 64 (N/A) 56 (N/A)
0.200 143 (139) 112 (110)
0.300 199.5 (199) 170 (158)
0.400 245 (249) 198 (192)
0.500 267.6 (279) 210 (210)
0.600 290 (295) 217 (220)
0.700 290 (301) 220 (224)

The numbers are closer than expected given the test condition differences. A 4.125 bore plate was not available at the time of testing. The 4.060 bore clearly is affecting the high lift flow, but none the less, I am very happy.

Next to get the engine together and dyno it!
Accepting donations lol

Seems like the 210 heads havent changed much. Not saying they are bad but the AFR 210s always seemed to flow well. I might see if I can get my hands on a set of used 210s.

Thanks for the post. Very interesting numbers. Considering different flow benches the numbers are not bad at all.

Nice numbers considering you'll actually be using your heads on a 4.125" bore engine.
