Aje K-member

Hi all,


I have ordered an Aje K-member whit Pinto Rack manual kit &
A-arm.

Its now installed in part at less, not completly done since i still wait for part
(i receive some wrong part from aje). I will post more info & detail of the install as soon as everyting finished.

Transmission: TH400 with brake, 8" PTC converter
Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11
looks really nice, I got mine in the black, now I'm thinking the red would have looked sharper and stood out more.

That make some color

You need to do like me, build a powercoating oven
I powercoat all my part now, the k-member was already powercoated btw..
I do myself the endlink union that came in bare metal for some reason.

That k-member make a lot of room and nice looking to !

Hey, 1 question,

The tapper bolt that goes to the spindle on your, does the stopper goes to the spindle ?

On mine the stopper those' nt go on the spindle, i emailed aje about this and wait a reply... I think you could see it on the pics i posted.

might be a dumb question, but how do you jack up the front of the car with the tubular k-members?

i think right on the main beam, that should be strong enough, like on the orig. k-member.

Here it is.
threre is no way to have it all the way to the stoper, bolt to big or hole to small

Thats stock spindle (powercoated in new), i moded it a bit
on the caliper braket since i have a wilwood caliper/wilwood light disk
setup that goes on it.

powdercoating must have made that bolt hole a little smaller so it needs to be reamed out slightly.

no, already sanded to bare metal & tighted whit a gun, it look like the bolt is to big.. So on your setup the stopper goes all the way trhu it then?
