Do you have one installed cause I would like to hear from real people's experiences with this torque arm and maybe some pic's.

I did not even realize that. I was really looking at the bend in the crossmember, hoping it would clear my Mufflex "Y" pipe, and 4" system, not noticing it was a 4th gen. Sorry about that.

Car: projects.......
hey brutal - It would clear 4" no problems.
- Daniel's is soon to be done, again, and I'll finally get a little more tune time with it. I've got it down to hooking about 5-10' out of the hole on the street on 245/45 fulda's with his 2600 converter. It took a full throttle assualt coming off the apex in a set of curves near my house without so much as a peep outta the tires, just planted and moved. It's definitely a nice piece, if I were to change anything, I would roll the bend upwards slightly, as it will tap on speed bumps, but otherwise I think its a very nice piece. A bit heavy maybe, but you won't hurt it(not even you brutal). I should note we tied the x-member to his sfc's instead of the pinch welds. Our homemade motorsports sfc's are better suited to be framerails, thus we figured it would have more strength doing it this way.

- His new converter decided to take the stator clutch out in about 40 miles, so it hasn't gotten done as fast as either of us intended. - car ran mid 13's before converter or tq arm, daily driver.

it hangs down too far IMO.... and the install isnt a bolt on... but otherwise, its a nice piece.

yeah, it's deffinitly not a bolt in. Personally, I preffer weld in components anyhow. - I could have rolled the cross bar slightly, thus allowing for more ground clearance, but thats one of those 20/20 deals. - For Dan's car on stock 1987 WS6 springs, it's not really a problem. It can/does rub on occassion, but nothing major.
