Turtle Wax ICE polish & detailer
Well guys i've always been a long time Meguiars fan. I have always used their NXT wax and NXT spray detailer to keep my car looking its best.
I saw some at Autozone so i figured i'd give it a shot. I picked up some of Turtle Wax's "ICE" spray detailer and polish.
First of all the polish goes on SUPER easy and super fast. They also give u a microfiber to take it off with. It comes off so easy with just one or two swipes of the microfiber. The shine and feel of my paint afterwards is unreal. although my paint is in very good shape to start with, so its hard to tell major differences, i am very satisfied. Its also great that it doesnt leave any white residue in the body seams and emblems, no more wax stuck under my windsheild gasket either. This polish almost goes on like an oil, very clear. Although labeled as a polish, they say it has certain polymers to help protect your paint from the sunlight and elements.
The spray detailer is just as good. It cleans the paint just as well, and seems to leave a "slicker" feeling than the Meguiars NXT spray detailer does.
Usually its hard to impress me when it comes to detailing products, but this stuff shocked me. Figured i would let everyone know!!

Yeah I've been using ice for a couple months now, its real slick, goes on like baby oil and comes off pretty easy too. Its nice b/c you can easily do the whole car in 15 min, whereas a traditional wax takes a little longer.

so is it a polish to clean the paint, or a wax to protect it?

Per the turtlewax website and some snippits from there web page below, it appears that they are marketing it as both.
Q: Why won't Ice Liquid dry like regular wax and polish? How do I know when to wipe or buff?
A: Ice Liquid is not a traditional polish. It contains high levels of polymer shine ingredients, a clarified carnauba wax, and synthetic and natural oils to glide on and off the paint surface without leaving swirl marks or fine wiping marks on high reflective automotive surfaces. It will not dry to a "powder" like regular wax. Ice is ready to remove when uniform wetness from application fades to a semi-wet surface. This takes 5 minutes or longer depending on the finish temperature.
Q: How long will Ice Polish last?
A: Ice polish will cause water to bead on an automotive finish like a fine wax or polish. Ice will bead water and shine for at least 3 to 4 months under normal weathering conditions. However Ice is easy to use and works so well on all exterior surfaces including plastic, chrome, and rubber you may find yourself applying the product more often maintain a high reflective shine.
Q: Will multiple coats of Ice Polish build up a finish?
A: Ice Polish is self cleaning, will dissolve old wax and polish, and deposit a new protective matrix with each application
Regards,
Matt

Ice is some good stuff if your need of a detail quickly but it will only last abut 2 months before the nice water beads begin to faded away....with a wash every 2 weeks with Duragloss Car Wash.

It does give a nice shine. But the durability is not very good at all.
