DON'T BUY FROM MADDOG RACING (Fast Engine Parts). I bought a camshaft from them on ebay -- they mixed up my order with some other guy's and ripped me off for over $200.00. When I've spoken to them on the phone and by email, they said they had no record of my order. End of story, I "gave" them $200 and I didn't get my cam.

How did you pay for the part? You should be able to refute the charge with your bank or credit card company and get your money back. They should be able to send you proof that you paid for the item and you can then send that info to Madog Racing.

I bought the camshaft and then exchanged it for another - they told me over the phone that this would be no problem - but there was some confusion because they said that my order was mixed up with some other guy's who had a similar last name. Anyway, that was cleared up and I was told to return the camshaft when I received it in the mail. (I never even removed it from the post office - just simply returned it).
When I asked them if they had received my camshaft (which I had already paid for), they claimed that they had no record of me buying anything from them. So they kept my camshaft and my $200. It was too late to cancel payment because I had already paid them by PayPal. So they got me good and it's my word against there's.
I even left them positive feedback on ebay.
I had to go buy one from Summit ...who, by the way, have been simply awesome. They sent one of my orders to an old address, but when I contacted them and the mistake was discovered they shipped another identical order to me for free without question.
I guess mail-order hasn't been without its complications. On the other hand, I've also received a lot of parts without problems.

Why dont you get something in writing from Mad dog that says you never did business with them and show that to paypal. I would think that would be enough for paypal to return you your money.

Yeah, wait a minute. You have a PayPal record showing you sent Maddog Racing money. Contact PayPal and get them involved.
