anyone ever use a hypercrap thermomaster chip in a CCC motor?
i know these chips are bad but id like to know what they would do on a carbed motor? any changes in anything? i found one out of a crashed 87 camaro with LG4 same set-up junk yard guy selling it for a dime.... lol i know thats about how much its worth
but on the good side does it do anything like improve throttle responce and keep car running at 160*also does the car need high octane to run?

Not too sure.
I know that it is suggested that you run higher octane when using those chips because they advance your timing, which would affect even a carbureted motor. I have an 82 Camaro with a carbed motor and I thought about buying that chip because I live in Phoenix Arizona and wanted my engine to run cooler, but I think its better to just keep the computer stock as the computers in these cars are rather primative and might get tempermental if you introduce a recalibrated one. And I sure don't want to suggest you put it in there as I have no idea what it might do!
