Check your phone book to see if you have a FASTENAL store nearby. Their website is geared more towards manufacturing mostly, but the brick & mortar stores have a pretty good stock of hard to find nuts n bolts n fasteners.

Most of the stuff Perrypam sells you can get at the dealer for half the price. For instance the seat belt buckle buttons she sells for $29.95 can be bought at the dealer for $4.59 list.

So check before you buy you will save a ton of cash.

Damn, What dealer do you go to? My dealer can't even get half the parts perrypam sells, and the ones they can get are priced about same. Not to mention the dealer hardly ever has the stuff in stock.

/thanks for the tip, now I just have to find a chevy dealer that doesn't laugh at me when I ask about thirdgens...Seems my 2 local ones are full of corvette enthusiasts...which there is nothing wrong with except that one should be open minded to all chevrolets when working for the company...

I got all the parts for my restoration from the dealer. You just have to talk to the parts guy and explain to him that you are going to be buying a lot of parts. Most of them are paid on commission that's why they don't want to look things up.
