quick question about porting compatibility

Will a mini-ram with a port job that was made to match felpro 1266 gaskets work with stock L98 heads? I know that the port job is bigger. I just don't know if it will hinder anything at all or if it will work in the first place. The guy I'm buying from said I can just use the stock gaskets and it will be ok. I don't know him too well and I'm wondering if he's just trying to sell his stuff. Thanks for the help.

Car: yy wife, crazy.
Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
I'd pass. Well I guess it depends on how much bigger.

Having the intake runner in the heads bigger then the runner in the manifold is OK. The other way is not.

So unless you plan on porting out the L98 heads to match the miniram, which may not be possible, it wouldn't be all that great until you got aftermarket heads.

I know, but it's a decent deal that I am getting for this. I just want to know if it would cause any problems or if I couldn't use it at all. I would figure going from a bigger manifold to a smaller intake in the head would be ok right? Or would I be causing some leakage problems?
