Best Gears/gear Ratio
When i drop a 383 into my car i should have around 450 hp and 450 ft tq and i am definately wanting some better gears to really put that power to the ground. I was thinkin 4.10s or 3.73s at the least ...some told me that 4.10s would be to heavy What would be the best choice for my application

With a t56 I would probably go with 3.73s. 4.10s probably wouldnt be bad but your definately going to have traction problems

Hell my 355 will do that easily once I add the short runner intake and headers... 450 crank hp is only about 360 or so to the wheels... Not that much IMO...

The setup on the 383 is made by A.R. Racing with eagle 4340 crank comp cams camshaft aluminum trickflow heads and every other component to the engine is built with high performance parts
DYNOED at 437 hp @ 5500 RPM 468 ft. lbs torque 4800 RPM i didnt mean to exaggerate the readings i just estimated and rounded off because i couldnt remember the actual numbers at the time
