Best Magazine Issue

I know I'm stretching the "Product" in Aftermarket Product Review but I am interested in your most memorable magazine issue. Mine is June 2003 of Chevy Highperformance. That issue had the Part 1 of the Impersonator. The Coast Performance 400 shortblock with the SDP Vortec heads and the Crane cam. The issue also tested AFR 180 heads on a 350 formely known as "Daffey" that made some great power. A Stealth Ram installation was explained in this issue as well as a look at the then new Comp Cams beehive springs. There was details on installing a T56 in early muscle cars, track testing of both Moby, the 66' Chevelle with a modified HT383 crate motor and Project "My Generation" with the 350. All in all, it was an issue that you could learn something or find something interesting on almost every page.

A stark contrast to my second most memorable mag issue. I can't even remember the issue but it was Car Craft. The issue was about 12 years old and the issue was pretty much dedicated to painting your car. The thing that made it most memorable was the bathing suit clad girls posing next to hotly painted cars. Specifically there was this yellow 67 Camaro Prostreeter with the most beautiful brunette I have ever seen. Her photo image will forever be burned in my mind!! LOL

1. The "thirdgen" issue of GMHTP.

2. An older issue of PHR that had Bob Lutz's AAR 'Cuda. It's still my favorite "magazine" car.

Agree,

Sept 04, CHP was a pretty awesome mag, if all issues were that good I would subscribe. Also agree that June 04' was pretty good. But no kidding, I think Sept 04 was one of the best issues of a car mag I ever had. I and I've been buying mags off and on for over ten years. Wish more places would stock GMHTP

-Missed the first ever issue of GMHigh Tech Performance (which at the time was High Tech Performance) but I got the 2nd one. This one because it was the first of it's kind. Late model DOMESTIC iron. Nothing import. This was the start of something great.
-Muscle Mustang & Fast Ford have done a Swimsuit Special, 3 times now. The latest issue is on stands now. I don't care it's Mustangs, it gives hope for something like that for GM High Tech (which is another best issue, can't remember the month, but in the last couple months, hot blonde on the cover & inside - with Ronnie Duke's car I think) Anyway, this Mustang special has some of the best babe pics with cars ever. Angel Cassidy is probably in the top 10 of the hottest women on the planet.

I have a copy of Super chevy's "30 years of Camaro".Awesome! I also just got from Ebay very cheap,a 1968 copy of Carcraft.Unbelievable, the muscle cars people are restoring now were new in the adverts!
