I agree w/ cgb. Get a GOOD epoxy kit though. Not just the bottom dollar one at Home Depot. I have heard they have problems pealing up w/ those when they get wet.

Hey guys I got the Rustoleum 2 part mix epoxy and I swear by it. I have a three car and the one stall I did turned out so well I purchase more and did the rest. It comes with some color flake you can add to it if you want for decoration.
Goind on 2 years and looks awesome (I get compliments all the time) The good epoxy stuff won't pick up tire marks like the cheaper stuff and chemicals won't hurt it.
I purchase one of them from Autozone and got the others from Lowes. One box covers one garage stall.

how much did it cost you for the stuff you bought at autozone and lowes.???
and how clean do you have to get the floor ex: mine is black from years of pulling engines and transmissions and haveing fluids soak into it ...
so you have to totally get all the crap out of the concrete for these type coverings to work ??
or do they come with a chemical to clean it good enough for it to stick??

I was thinking about those too at one time. But I figured that they'd wear over time or scratch up or even fluid spills would seep through the areas they snap together and cause a mess underneath.

For the epoxy to stick I think you have to thoroughly wash the floor with some chemical, like boric acid or something like that.

I could of swore it was around $50 to cover one garage stall. I used a brush on a pole to help scrub the floor along with the cleaning product they recommended and used a roller to apply the paint.
Here's a link for more info and I think you can buy the stuff at Lowes or Home Depot:

Hope that helps. Some great stuff.
(PS The floor is kind of dirty but you get the idea and the tire mark on the floor was because I didnt' let it dry 100% when i pulled my car in the garage. Duh!)
The floor needs to be hosed off but it is going on 3 years since I painted it.
