Car: 1989 Camaro
Engine: 406
Transmission: Pro-built 700R4
Pro-built is the only overdrives I have ever had any luck with. Dana builds one hell of a strong tranny, his customer service is second to none. Just an all around great company to deal with.

My Probuilt street/strip shifts nicely, and works very well - 15k mi so far so good. Dana builds a different kinda trans, firm, yet soft at part throttle. solid, controlled at full throttle. Imagine a shift kit that actually worked right - Probuilt's combo offers this without the jerking and clunking that most "built" tranys have + it's strong. His prices are compareable to most shops, the only real hit$$ is the converter I paid $450 for the ACT ( This is what he used to use) now I think he has gone to the vigilante those are $750 + so plan on some $$. But think if you buy a lesser trans and save a little $ then have to replace it - your further in the hole.
I second Probuilt
Dana knows what he is doing

BTE - one of the best I know. - A buddy of mine broke 2 B&M's, 2 TCI's, then switched to the BTE. over 20k, no issues. - He's running a L98 w/ fully ported vette heads, cam, (exhuast and other general mods) and Procharger.
