Shift Kit for 700r4 track test ?

Has anybody conducted a before and after shift kit test at the dragstrip ??

If yes, what was the et gain... if any ? Which Shift kit did you use ?

Thanks

TransGo is the name I always here as the best. I bought a transgo and it was a great feeling. If I was you I would go with TransGo.

I had a trans-go sift kit put in mine and was amazed at the differance it made at the track(as for consistancy). My first run was 15.1(didn't get all the water off my tires ). The next four were 14.67, 14.62, 14.617 and 14.612, so I would definitely say it helped me.

I will definately recomend Trans-Go. Do not get a B&M because they are crap. I had a B&M and replaced it with the Trans-Go when I had my trans rebuilt. The T.G. shifts firm through all the gears and is very consistent. Keeps me right around 13.5sec all the time.

I did a few other mods at the same time I had the shift kit put in, so I really don't know if it improved my et's any. I think it just made me run more consistant than anything.

i have the Trans Go shift kit too. im pretty sure it helped but the thing is i didnt drive my camaro for 3 months before...because the tranny died...anyway i can double check to see if the shift kit is really in there guys?? the tranny man said it is but im not sure. its shifts firmer than before..but that could be because ofthe rebuilt tranny vs the dieing tranny. thanks
