Hep me! Hep me! Cam, Lifter hep needed. Paleez!!!!

I live in California and need help selecting some components for my 88 formula 350 ws6.

I need a cam, push rods, lifters injectors + fuel pressure regulator to best suit the following components.

-a rebuilt 350 (4 bolt main) bored .40 over. Single rear seal...from an 89 Iroc?

-Corvette late model aluminum heads 54cc 3/8" studs and guide plates. 1.94 intake - 1.5 exhaust. 3 angle valve job. Angled plugs. Just bought Crane gold race roller 1.5 rockers.

Accel Superram - Base, runners, Plenum. BBK 52mm Throttle body.

Hypertech chip for 160 degree stat.

Edelbrock ceramic coated TES with 3" cat and Flowmaster 70 series muffler. (hope the headers match up OK to the heads!!!!!).

700r4 trannie - STOCK..

Your expert help is greatly appreciated. I've been leaning towards one of the crane compucams but ????

I dont know where you got your 4 bolt main block but the 87+ blocks are designed for roller lifter, while later uses flat tappits. TPIS is probably your best place to ask, but there cams ae designed for roller cams, hence TPI started, mainly, after 87.

Why didn't you up the valves on your L98 heads to 2.02 intake? Looks like you are doing well, that combo should make a done of power!!! (Plus- Did you get your name from Islam? Just curious)

Martyr is short for Marty R. . No Islamabad going on here (Don't need a daisy cutter landing in my front yard).

W would up the valves if it weren't to much work. Do I have to machine anything?

Talked with the guy I bought the long-block from today and he said it was originally a roller cam but his previous client wanted a cam grind that required a hydraulic cam. Just know this makes things alot more expensive. I might have a line on a Crane Compucam 2032HR, used; but the lifters are going to kill me if I have to buy them new. $350+.

Any more input would be appreciated....should I get any trany work done since the engine is going to be out of the vehicle? Stock 700r4...60k + Miles.

Marty
