UP22 VS. USBODY 2 1/4" Cowl Scoop
Someone help!!!!!!I dont know which company to lean towards....If i go through up22,i dont have to worry about shipping because i can pick it up...However i always hear good and bad reviews on both companies...Can someone help me out??????

so should i pay the extra couple hundred and get the usbody?Im not doing the body work a shop is....Getting it painted to match my camaro and whatever else needs to be done for 100 bux...But the thing is that money is really tight so im trying to save a couple of bux

you might save some money in the hood, but the body shop will be charging you even more in labor to get it to look good. UP22 has the worst quality I've ever seen. Hence their cheap price.

I really want one but I don't want to have to pay all that extra money for shipping. So if there is a socal company that makes fiberglass hoods I can just go pick it up.

not went you get close to it. it really looks like ****. i have countless hour of labor put into that hood. it looked awsome for about a month and now it looks like crap.

Chaulk up another bad experience with Unlimited Products.
Several years ago I put a cowl on my Camaro. Same thing as HeavyChevy.... looked great. Couldn't see edges or anything. After awhile it was like the fiberglass expanded after the paint went on. You can see all the fibers.. and all the "holes" where the rivets went. All the edges.
The cowl I used was just the cowl.. and we put it on a junkyard hood.. so I can't comment on the fitment of the hoods. I also heard you're supposed to let the fiberglass set in the sun for a bit before using it. Their site doesn't say anything about that though. *shrug*

so US Body it is.What about cervini?Are they pricey?
Also i am having the same problem with my bolt on scoop....You can see the rivets come out thats why im looking for a new hood..
