superram and trans cable
Any pics or something about what should I do with the cable that goes from the TB to the transmision(I think) ?? Because of the size of the plenum I had to bend it and it's not working properly. The tranny upshifts as if the car was at half throttle when it is really at WOT.

Close up.
You can see that the TV cable needs to run under the plenum. It is not possible to run the TV cable over the plenum. You also need to run the linkage bracket designed for the SR in order to keep the geometry correct.
From a greater install perspective you must conect all vaccum lines, TV cable, EGR, MAT, etc... before bolting up the plenum. If you skip a step and bolt things up you will kick yourself as you will need to rip it down and reinstall.
Looking closely at my TV linkage you can see a rubber bumper providing positive pressure on the plastic mounting housing. One of the retaining clips snapped and I sure as hell wasnt going to rip it down to replace it.

If you dont get that adjusted properly you will burn up your trans. A TV cable out of adjustment is the leading cause of premature 700R4 failure, it is easily avoidable. It would be wise to educate yourself on what the TV cable does and how it keep it properly adjusted.

Thanks guys! I'll have to take the plenum out again to get it right. A linkage bracket for the SR? Is it necessary? I mean, can't I just run the cable between the plenum and runners? How about modifying the existing bracket? Right now the cable is running through the side of the runners. It gets very tight behind the bracket where it is bent about 45 degrees and then runs along the side of the runners. I tried to adjust it like it is for now but now it takes too long before 2nd gear is engaged at low speeds and 2nd gears kicks really hard. It's really annoying. I spent a weekend installing the SR under the rain and I can't even get the car to run right Should I move it forward or backwars in order to get the gears shorter at low speeds?? The problem at WOT is beacause the TB is not fully opening. The accelerator cable is not adjustable that I know. How can I fix this Thanks a lot!

Ok, I adjusted the TV cable nicely and a spacer in the pedals's end of the TB cable took care of the TB not fully opening. Thanks :lala:
