The sticker idea would be cool! Looks like something you would find on a custom car!!

Another thing I found out the other day was that the company that makes those hoods is only about a 3 hour drive from my house, I think I will see if I can arrange to drive over and pick the hood up and then not get dipped with the $80 delivery fee...That would be good for me...

Drive over to the beach, take it off and waveride on it ...or take it off over to the local Waterworld, and head for the giant slide.

or...."The" ultimate hanggliding experience,, anyone?

With these multiple uses we should be having to hold the doors closed!

We could enter the team in the "open" bobsled class at the Winter Games?

I bet it would make a killer snow sled!!!

Then again, just a plain, old "ram air" hood sounds nice too!!!

What's the dilly, its the 13th? WHat do we do now?

They'll be making some good bucks on this deal. I would like to use PayPal, right out of my bank and into their PP account in minutes. I usually limit my online purchases to Paypal Commercial Accounts these days or bidding on Ebay...quick and effective to get the ball rolling!!

Why didn't I think of this before???? (Because I'm 70, that's why!)

I'm a member of the Illinois Camaro Club. No real reason why someone can't join today, is there, Jason???

"Eleven of us over at 3rd Gen F-Body have a Group Purchase on the fabulous AND functional RamAir hood for $420 plus shipping...also you could order airbox and painting=extra cash!

....if we get four more today, it might even be cheaper! But you do have till the end of today to get in on this deal...should be shipped to you in 2-3 weeks if you buy in to this great deal!!."

Check out https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...5&pagenumber=1

and be a happy mon!!

Mike Cover
Illinois Camaro Club

P.S. This GP is just for the 82-92 Camaro crowd!! "

I'm gonna send them a Flash last minute notice of this deal....

Just deposited $570 via paypal to cover "Team Raimair" entrance fee!! How sweet a gig this has been! some slightly negative news......I just called the company and asked two questions.
You supply the hoods prepainted for your advertised price....does this include the RamAir? Answer...for the Camaros?? No! This seems a little unfair, even with a $75 coupon discount, to me.
We have to wait longer for the hoods than expected anyway....
Question 2, I asked "How long will it take to get mine...I understood it was 2-4 weeks??" Answer: "Oh, they're on backorder....it will probably be 4-6 weeks.

I've paid up, but I'm a little angry at the fact they prepaint according to their web....Ask you the color...then say, "we don't paint the Camaro RamAir!! Well, I filled in RED and I want RED!
LOL (lots o luck). False advertising???? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

Well earlier in one of the posts they said they dont paint the older car hoods because its hard to match the paint especiall in a 12+ year old vehicle. the paint fades and they most likely couldnt match the color and then you'd be dissapointed, about the waiting thing. that makes me kinda not want to order one now. we have a special group purchase and we have to wait longer? i do not get it, maybe if you would have told them you wernt one of those "special coupon people" then he probably would have done business faster. instead of "oh there paying less....they can wait" but i guess thats just my .02 on that. also iv got a question, if i pay with a debit card and i want it shipped to a business, does the address have to match the address on my debit card? because my home address is obviously different than the business address. is this going to cause me any trouble?

It's a woman that answers the phone down there. Somebody else should call down there and you'll hear her say..."backordered"!! As far as debit card details, you should call them. I have found out that they welcome paypal. Go to the http://powerhoods.com and fill in the standard info...no vin number requested...just type in the coupon number...pick your color (har-har) and you'll be able to fill in your Paypal password!

Of course they are backordered. All of these hoods are custom made. Thats why it is cheper to make 10 (11) of them than 1 or 2. When they set it all up and make one, they just make a bunch of them. Let's try to stay positive.

there still a company, and should be able to supply there product they sell. its like where i work, we build chandaliers, and were sooo far behind that its not even funny, but someoen calls and says "id like to order bla bla bla" then the customer service person says "sure we'll get one right out to you", even tho were far behind and it wont be months until they get it. i mean i know some companies get behind but, its supply and demand, they SHOULD have had these hoods in stock and plenty of them. because i know they must sell quite a bit. i mean probably not alot because of the price but still. i think you guys can understand what im talking about.

I think the camaro hoods are hand layed also........

This WS6 Style Hood is fully ram air functional and is available with an optional ram air box to give your vehicle a little extra punch. It is constructed from hand-laid fiberglass with a white gelcoat finish ready to be prepped, primed and painted finish. Also comes with a one year warranty.........
