Check their website

go to ramairhood.com and they should have a chart for shipping, also this ends the 13th but not sure when youd have to pay. probably that day or a few days after by the latest, shipping would be 160 to cali so any way you get this hood now would be the cheapest time to purchase it. think of it this way, your saving 75 bucks on shipping so its only 85 shipping and 495 for the hood, or just the regular way 420 plus 160 shipping, comes out the same anyways hope you join in on the GP!

Sorry guys I havent replied in a while...but hes the scoop....I'm pretty sure that they will ship to canada but that would have to be something to ask them...No word on the 15 people yet, though. Also I forgot to mention that if u are planning to have it shipped to ur house u have to pay an extra 25 dollars on shipping...So my suggestion is ship it to ur work place cheaper and someone there to sign for it. PLus less chance of someone running off with ur hood when ur not home to recieve it. Just so extra info I had to add.

I will be PM'ing everyone who has joined to make sure that interest is still there and a link to the website to figure out Grand totals for shipping...

Enjoy, I'll start the PM's now so expect one in ur PM box shortly

i figured if all 9 people pitched in an extra 60 bucks for me, that would make ten people buying the hood and getting an even better discount, and when ig et my tax return check in 3 weeks or sooner, i would mail all 9 of you a check for 60 bucks

Damn!! Same color as mine. Add the 91-92 gfx and high rise and you'll have my car.

ps: clear sidemarkers and a Z28 grill too.

Anyone notice how the "ram air filter system" that they sell for the hood isnt actually a ram air at all, if you look at the design the air that gets scooped in will just blow right past the airbox and not in it. just wanted to point that out. so if you wanted a real type "ram Air" then you would have to have a filter that is straight up and in front of the openings. just my .02

theres no such thing as ram air anyway. its a marketing item. cars will never reach the speed that a ram air system would actually work. Ever notice when your driving down the highway in a light rain that the rain never touches your windshield? when air hits the front it pushes it up and over the hood and windshield. the ram air hood is more of a cold induction hood if you want to get technical. its all for looks, but it does offer a little performance gain. Its lighter weight, and it sucks in air outside the engine compartment. my hood is going on a throttle body equipped vehicle with a k&n extreme air lid and base so i dont need the air box. but for those that have tpi or mpfi, you will need it to see any kind of performance difference. but they look so DAMN GOOD! lol

i know what your talking about thats why i put Ram Air in quotes because thats what its called not what it does.if you want cold air just use the stock system on the MAF cars. that goes in front of the radiator. but anyways i know what you mean, when i get this hood im going to try hook up something that might actually work. but who knows.

mine will work fine, i have an open element throttle w/ tbi air goes straight into it. anyone know if these are sealed in the back like the stock hoods?

if they arent they will be a ram air/cowl hood it will allow air to move overtop of the engine like a cowl to extract heat
