anyone know anything about BMR?

anyone know anything about BMR suspension parts?
thunderracing.com seems to have a complete list of all their parts and from what i read on the site they seem to bee the most "heavy duty" suspension parts for a 3rd gen.
are they?

I bought the swaybars and the panhard/eibach spring kit from Thunder racing. The swaybars were on backorder for like 3 weeks so it took me a while to get em'. (Said there was a problem at the factory, blah blah blah.) As for being the most "heavy duty", I'm not sure.

IMO, Spohn is just as heavy duty, if not better (it's what i run, and i could have run either.)

I think that BMR is very similar to Spohn, but I believe that BMR is just a little more heavy duty than spohn is. The both have websites, check them out for yourself.

maybe BMR's xtreme stuff is heavier duty, but it is a lot more $$$. There regular stuff doesn't seem to exceed spohn's to me.

I order my LCA's and panhard rod directly from BMR. They are very quality pieces and I will definately be ordering from them in the future.

I have one of the BMR strut tower braces. I was impressed with the quality of the workmanship. Very strong piece. Haven't used Spohn yet. Will most likely use his torque arm when I get one.

i have a few of brett's suspension parts on my car. i went to his shop near tampa to pick them up. this was a few years ago, shop was pretty small. ran by him and his wife and 2-3 welder/fabricators i believe. i imagine they have a new/much larger facility now as they sell many parts for many different cars.
his stuff all seemed pretty top notch as i have all his suspensions parts (even SFC prototypes) except for a t56 TQ arm i just got from spohn. the two seem very comparable

pretty much same for me except it was a buddy of mine buying some parts. strut tower bar, panhard rod, lcas and a couple other parts. picked 'em up from their tiny little shop outside of tampa/lakeland area. they were good guys to deal with there.

Hey, I'm new here but I figured I'd through my two cents. I've got a set of BMR LCRs ,Tourqe arm ,and panhard bar on my '99 WS6 T/A ,and my son has a tower brace on his '92 Z28.I've been pleased with the quality and price of their stuff. It's going on the '91 Formula once I start getting it back together. I think that BMR is a great company that makes great parts.
I have the BMR bolt on LCA relocation brackets. I use the Spohn
LCAs and Panhard rod though. But still, I have no complaints
over the craftsmanship and performance of those parts. I think
both Spohn AND BMR are great companies to buy parts from.
I don't think either one is better than the other. Heck, both
companies are used greatly on high performance F bodies in GM
Hi-Tech performance!

FYI: Spohn DOES make extreme duty LCAs! Just not for
sale yet. Why? I don't know. E mail or call Steve and company
to find out why. I am sure for the right price, they can
fab a pair up for you!

I think that the chrome moly tubed LCAs that Spohn/BMR makes
should hold up for a lot of abuse! Unless if you run like 700hp!
Maybe then, I would get a little more beef on those!

I recently bought a set of their trailing arms. I went with BMR specifically because I wanted trailing arms with a rubber bushing at the body mount and a poly bushing at the axle mount. As far as I know, BMR is the only company making this an option. Just as an FYI, the rubber-bushing is really nice - it's somewhat undersized to help reduce the amount of deflection possible and they use a higher-durometer (more stiff) rubber compound but because it is a rubber bushing, there is virtually no difference in interior noise as compared to stock. I really am happy with the LCA's from them.

Just my 2 pennies................

I did notice that BMR has a lot more options on the LCAs
than Spohn does. I just went with Spohn because at the
time, I didn't even hear of BMR back in 2002. At least, no body
suggested them. I don't know how long they have been around,
but I would recommend either one of them. Both are improving
their company and products every day.
