Ignition Module, whatcha guys know?
well, i think mines going out ill get a code as soon as i can. but i wanted to ask what should i replace it with, the local has borg and warner or sumpthin like that...
any advice you guys can give is appreciated... oh, i dont want to go crazy with ignition on this engine.... (cough... LT1)

Just get the NAPA echelin replacement -- its as good as if not better than the accel one and I dont think MSD makes a replacement

I agree, just get a replacement one. Whatever you do though do not get a "high performance" module. They're junk and they do the exact same thing that a cheapy autoparts module would do.

I'd go with either an AC Delco or the NAPA brand. Stay away from Wells.

Just so you know, even though Wells usually has the cheapest ignition parts doesn't necesarily make them crap, and they make all of the factory GM ignition components. They make the AC Delcos and put them in the AC box. It's all the same parts. I went to an ignition seminar back when i was a dealer tech that was put on by Wells. Their stuff is all made in the US(WI) and they make almost all of the factory ignition components for every American car.
